Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Alley Visas, a service provided by Alley Bookings Limited (“Alley”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our websites, applications, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing the Platform or purchasing/using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • “Services” means visa advisory, document review, application assistance, appointment/submission support, and related travel support services offered through Alley Visas.
  • “User” or “you” means the person creating an account, submitting a request, paying for services, or otherwise using the Platform.
  • “Service Fee” means fees charged by Alley for providing Services.
  • “Third-Party Fees” means fees charged by embassies, consulates, visa application centres (VACs), courier services, insurance providers, translation vendors, or payment processors.

3. Our Services and Important Disclaimers

3.1 We are not a government agency.

Alley Visas is a private service provider. We are not affiliated with any embassy, consulate, or VAC.

3.2 No guarantee of visa issuance.

Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy/consulate/VAC. We cannot guarantee approvals, appointment availability, processing timelines, or outcomes.

3.3 Timelines are estimates.

Any processing or turnaround timelines shown on the Platform are indicative only and may change due to third-party processes, public holidays, consular policies, system outages, or other factors outside our control.

3.4 Scope limitations.

Unless explicitly stated in writing, our Services do not include legal representation, immigration legal advice as a law firm, or direct influence over government decision-making.

4. Eligibility and Account Security

  • 4.1 You must provide accurate information and keep your account details secure.
  • 4.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us immediately.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Accurate and truthful information.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

5.2 Authentic documents.

You confirm that all documents provided are genuine and that you have the legal right to share them with us and relevant authorities. You must not submit forged, altered, misleading, or unlawfully obtained documents.

5.3 Cooperation.

You agree to respond to information or document requests within a reasonable time. Delays or non-cooperation may result in your case being paused, rescheduled, or closed.

5.4 Embassy rules.

You are responsible for complying with embassy/VAC rules, biometrics requirements, interview attendance, and appointment instructions. We are not responsible for missed appointments due to your failure to attend, late arrival, or failure to follow instructions.

6. Fees, Payments, and Taxes

  • 6.1 Service Fees. Service Fees are displayed on the Platform or shared with you in a quote/invoice before payment.
  • 6.2 Third-Party Fees. Embassy/VAC/government fees and other Third-Party Fees are separate from our Service Fees and may be non-refundable based on third-party rules.
  • 6.3 Payment processing. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details.
  • 6.4 Currency. Fees may be charged in NGN or other currencies as displayed. Exchange rates and charges applied by banks or payment providers are outside our control.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

7.1 When Services start.

A service is considered to have commenced when any of the following occurs:

  • a document review begins,
  • a case review/checklist verification begins,
  • a quote is prepared specifically for your case,
  • submission/appointment actions are initiated, or
  • we begin work on your application support deliverables.

7.2 Service Fees.

Unless otherwise stated on your invoice or package terms:

  • Service Fees are non-refundable once the service has commenced, regardless of visa outcome.
  • If you request cancellation before the service commences, we may refund the Service Fee less any payment processing charges already incurred.

7.3 Third-Party Fees.

Third-Party Fees are subject to third-party rules and are often non-refundable. Where you authorize us to pay Third-Party Fees on your behalf, you accept the third party’s refund rules.

7.4 No refunds for user-caused failures.

Refunds will not be provided for issues caused by: missed appointments, failure to provide requested documents, false information, forged documents, or failure to follow embassy/VAC rules.

7.5 Chargebacks and disputes.

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting support to resolve the matter, we may suspend your case and access to the Platform until the dispute is resolved.

8. Communications

You agree that we may contact you using the details you provide (email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone) for service updates, requests for documents, payment confirmations, and support.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, or disrupt operations
  • harass staff or other users
  • use the Platform to submit fraudulent applications or false documents

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, branding, templates, checklists, and content are owned by Alley or its licensors. You may use them only for your personal use in connection with our Services. You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit them without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may reference or integrate third-party services (payment providers, storage, messaging, appointment systems). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their actions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • 12.1 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including travel losses, missed flights/hotels, lost profits, or rejected applications).
  • 12.2 Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the Service Fees you paid to us for the specific service request giving rise to the claim.
  • 12.3 We are not responsible for embassy/consulate/VAC decisions, delays, policy changes, appointment availability, or third-party failures.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, provide fraudulent documents, misuse the Platform, or if required by law. You may stop using our Services at any time, but refunds are governed by Section 7.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Data Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge you have read and understood the Data Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice in the Platform. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Kano State, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
